Sev Lavraak

Description:
Bio:

When Sev was still a youngling training at the temple he was joined by another Shistavanen wolfgirl named Belen. Their common species and almost genetic xenophobia led them to form a very close bond. As they grew, this bond evolved into the one thing Jedi were not allowed to have: an attachment. The Force was strong in Sev, but not so much in his companion. Belen may have been weak in the Force, but she desired to be a Jedi more than Sev ever did. Despite Sev’s encouragement this resulted in her becoming impatient and frustrated. When they reached the age to be taken as Padawans, Sev was adopted into the Jedi Sentinels. Belen, despite her efforts, was on-track to lose her dream of being a Jedi and be sent to the Agricorps. The day came when they were separated and Sev left without ever know Belen’s fate or if he would even see her again.

Sev was taken as a Padawan learner by Jedi Master Voolvif Monn, and trained in an unorthodox manner during the Clone Wars. Voolvif would often send his Padawan off on tasks alone, or give him a goal and tell him to achieve it and return with the results. The effect of such unorthodox training was two-fold – Sev learned early and quickly to be much more self-sufficient than most Padawan, and indeed most beings, and he also missed the invoking of Order 66 which apparently slew his master. Returning from a task given by Voolvif, he found the temporary quarters they had occupied had been leveled in an apparent explosion after the order was given, and the locals blamed the “rogue Jedi” when the news of the assassination attempt on Emperor Palpatine reached them. Sev carefully removed himself from the planet and made for the Outer Rim, all the while suspecting in his heart that Master Voolvif had survived somehow…
