Star Wars: Enemy of the Republic - Light Side
When Sev was still a youngling training at the temple he was joined by another Shistavanen wolfgirl named Belen. Their common species and almost genetic xenophobia led them to form a very close bond. As they grew, this bond evolved into the one thing Jedi were not allowed to have: an attachment. The Force was strong in Sev, but not so much in his companion. Belen may have been weak in the Force, but she desired to be a Jedi more than Sev ever did. Despite Sev’s encouragement this resulted in her becoming impatient and frustrated. When they reached the age to be taken as Padawans, Sev was adopted into the Jedi Sentinels. Belen, despite her efforts, was on-track to lose her dream of being a Jedi and be sent to the Agricorps. Returning from a task given by Voolvif, he found the temporary quarters they had occupied had been leveled in an apparent explosion after the order was given, and the locals blamed the “rogue Jedi” when the news of the assassination attempt on Emperor Palpatine reached them. Sev carefully removed himself from the planet and made for the Outer Rim, all the while suspecting in his heart that Master Voolvif had survived somehow…
